We had the immense pleasure this weekend of seeing our son Chris and his lovely wife Eleanor. They drove over from St. Louis Saturday afternoon and went back home this morning. We enjoyed talking, playing Scrabble, Boggle, and Sequence, and just being together. John and Tara (our other son and his lovely wife who live in Wilmore) were able to come last night for supper, so all six of us were together for the first time in quite a while. We are thankful that God has blessed us with such a wonderful family. This week Dan is working on his reading and writing assignments for the Christian Conversion course he's been taking. He needs to read 4 books, write 5 book reports (he finished one of the books last week), and then write a final research paper. All this needs to be completed by next Wednesday, because he goes to Venezuela next Thursday. Please pray that God will multiply his efforts and "redeem the time."
